Here are three CemFlexx applications of our dry bulk handling systems. If this is not what you need, we can design and engineer a solution from scratch.
1. Self-discharging Bulk Carriers
CemFlexx can engineer a bulk handling system for a self-discharging bulk carrier on new vessels or we can convert existing vessels into advanced cement carriers. Due to our unique system layout, energy consumption during discharging is 30 - 40% less than alternative systems.
You will save on building costs, since a minimal amount of steel work is required.Due to the low cargo hold floor, the vessel can optimize its center of gravity so the vessel is stable and safe. There are no moving parts in the product that need to be pumped, creating fail save operations and less wear and tear on your vessel.
2. Transport Cement Products From Shore To Drilling Rigs
CemFlexx use pressure less dry bulk cargo tanks.When your vessel is outfitted our dry bulk cargo tanks, you have up to 30% more storage capacity than pressurized p-tank systems.
As a shipowner you can save on fuel cost and transportation. If three vessels are outfitted with our FlexxVac technology you can carry the same amount of product compared to four vessels with P-Tanks.
Our system offers design flexibility. There is no need for round storage tanks. Your storage tanks can be round, oval, square, rectangular basically every shape that suit the vessel design the best.No special tank constructions or materials are needed.
3. Ports And Terminals
CemFlexx designs and delivers ship loading and unloading solutions from start till the end. Our technology ensures optimized transshipment, loading and unloading operations.
Silo or flat storage, CemFlexx can design and deliver the complete storage terminal for cementitious products. We offer transshipment barges or systems, to pump dry bulk from an inland vessel to a sea going vessel or visa versa. All our operations are dust free.
